
Neka Roundy is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Recreation Education and Youth Leadership and a M.A. in Community School Leadership. She also holds a Community College Teaching certificate from California.
As a new resident (thirty years ago) to the wonderful community of Kaysville, she became involved with the city recreation programs. She was a PTA board member at the elementary, junior high, and Davis High schools and served as a member of the Kaysville Planning Commission. She was elected to the Kaysville City Council and served there for six years before being elected Mayor.
Neka works for Davis County Community and Economic Development. Some projects she is involved with include volunteers at Antelope Island State Park, Great Salt Lake Bird Festival, and Antelope by Moonlight Bike Ride. For nine years she did the tourism promotion for Davis County.
Neka and her husband Steve, a junior high school science teacher, are the parents of four children- 3 daughters, 1 son and have added 1 son-in-law and 3 grandchildren.
Neka is a member of Utah League of Cities and Towns, American Association of University Women, and Friends of Antelope Island. She enjoys her family, reading and travel.
